Before you start:
- Sweating will make your tattoo blurry, so you should apply in a comfortable setting with room temperature.
- For areas with dense hair, shave at least 24 hours prior to applying your tattoo.
- You can only use the materials once, so make sure to keep a close eye on the instructions!
- For best results, hydrate your skin by moisturizing and drinking lots of water. Wait 1 hour after moisturizing to apply your tattoo.
Let’s get started:
- Prep skin with the Primer Wipe. Exfoliate area with Primer Wipe for 30 seconds. Wait 30 seconds for area to dry.
- Apply tattoo: Peel off tattoo backing, place the tattoo on your skin sticky side down. Peel off the remaining border. Press down on the tattoo to ensure that the adhesive is fully stuck on, this helps to avoid wrinkles in the design.
- Leave it on for 60 minutes. Make sure to avoid any excessive movement and sweating during this time.
- Remove everything once the time is up. Your tattoo will look light blue/green at first. It will darken in 24-36 hours to a dark blue or black, depending on your skin’s unique chemistry.
Aftercare:
- Cover the tattoo with loose clothing the first night, as the ink can transfer to another body part.
- Avoid exfoliating your tattoo until you’re ready to remove it. Actions like scrubbing in the shower and swimming in saltwater will gradually fade your tattoo.
- Continue to hydrate your skin by moisturizing daily and drinking lots of water. Wait at least 8 hours after applying your tattoo to moisturize or shower.
